No Forgiveness! Father of Child in NAIA Tragedy, Furious at SUV Driver Who Took His Son’s Life!

MANILA — The father of the four-year-old who was killed in a car crash at the NAIA Terminal 1 Departure Area on Sunday is calling for justice for his daughter, as well as his wife, mother and niece who were all injured in the incident.

A mass was held Wednesday afternoon in Lipa City, Batangas for four-year-old Malia Kates Yuchen Masongsong, who was one of two individuals killed in the crash.

The pain and anger felt by Malia’s father, Danmark, toward the SUV driver responsible for his daughter’s death remain, and he wants the man jailed.

For Danmark, forgiving the SUV driver is impossible.

You are still eating, my child is gone. Your body is still strong in prison, my child is gone. My mother was also hurt, my nephew, your sin is unforgivable. Remember that, so the court will just have to deal with you,” he said.

He said he will wait until his daughter is laid to rest before confronting the SUV driver, whom he vowed to hold accountable under the law.

“When the time comes, we will meet again and justice will be served for my child’s death,” he added.

Malia’s mother, Cynthia, is still in the hospital and has not been able to visit her daughter’s wake since learning the devastating news of her passing.

According to Danmark, his wife is still struggling to move.

“It is very painful, she still can’t believe that our child is gone,” said Danmark.
