Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Court.
During the meeting held at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, to the UAE President. They also extended their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE. In return, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed entrusted Prince Khalid bin Salman with his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, wishing Saudi Arabia enduring advancement and prosperity under its wise leadership.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed the strong fraternal relations between the two nations and avenues for cooperation across various fields, supporting their shared interests and aspirations for development and prosperity for their peoples.
The meeting also addressed developments in the Middle East, regional and international issues of mutual concern, and the importance of strengthening efforts to maintain the region’s security, peace, and stability.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; and Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Strategic Affairs Office of the Presidential Court and Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office.
